Dialogue
The camera's we are working with do not provide very good sound quality so we decided to keep any on set sounds to a minimum and instead put them on in editing. We also found that our Dialogue was too cheesy. Due to this decision it means that there will be little to no dialogue from the characters on screen.
Any dialogue we will have will be simple and go with the scene.

Monologue
Due to us not using dialogue we decided to create a monologue instead and use that over the top in order to create the atmosphere. This non-diegetic sound will not properly fit with the scene and act like Amara before she even appears. This script was set with the intention of highlighting aspects of life and then twisting them and turning them dark and sinister. The voice has to be a womans (as a mans would be out of place) and has to be serious instead of preppy like the protagonist.

People are always afraid of death and their legacy,
Will they be remembered or forgotten? Will they die in pain or peace? Alone or with loved ones? All these questions but that is not their real issue. No. People are so absorbed in their own little world. So they let themselves forget what the real danger is. And its not something as petty as how they will die. No. The real danger is what you become afterwards, A rotting corpse or maybe, Just maybe something a little more..... Sinister. -LR Our first attempt at the script didn't have the desired effects as we found that it was not very effective and sounded very amateure. When put with our storyboard it didn't make much sense and so we decided to change our angle.
-LR In the end we decided to spread the monologue along the OTS as the last word was "sinister". This being said at the same time stacy turned round gives of the effect that Amara is saying it herself. As the monologue is meant to be Amara telling the audience about the after life, that you can never predict about what you will become.

What is Life?
Is it love? is it happiness? is it all 'Sugar and spice and everything nice'? Or is it grief? is it heartache? is it that soul shredding feeling of despair? One of the most common questions asked, and yet still no answer. The truth is No One Knows. And no one wants you to know. Because they are all too scared that the answer they get won't be sunshines and rainbows Some argue that for everyone its different that life is what we make of it. But thats not true is it? Because in life you get given a glimpse of that life, that freedom, And then someone else rips it away. And then... it's over. -LR We wanted our monologue to involve the aspects of life and eventual death as our horror OTS is about spirits. We also wanted to involve everyone in the description so we used a wide range of common emotions. /the idea was to have a cynical outlook on life, and so resulting from that it would be quite sarcastic.

We did some research and we found it very hard to find a horror film that had a scary monologue in their opening title sequence and this just made us want to do one even more so it will appeal to people more as it is something that is not often seen. There are various films that feature monologues such as Schindler's List but there are no films of the horror genre or films where they feature in the opening title sequence. By doing this monologue we are making people connect with the dnager and antagonist of the film which isnt often done so is refreshing as lots of things in horror are heavily recycled - LE, KD
