Platinum DunesThis is a production company that might not suit too well with a horror film as it does not have any horror connotations in its animation or in its name, yet this company has still produced some big horror films. EG friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This means that even though it is very important to have horror connotations it doesn't always have to be that way. LE

Rogue PicturesThis production company also has no horror connotations and messages in its animation or name but it doesn't really produce any big horrors, it as produced a few EG Seed Of Chucky and the perfect getaway. This is showing that maybe not having horror meanings in the production company affects whether people will want you to produce their horrors. LE

Distribution Companies
Once a movie has been made it needs to go to a distribution company in order for it to be seen. The Distribution company is in charge of creating hype for the new film and also getting it into the cinemas.
You will often find that distribution companies have images of either the sky or the world in order to show that they will reach around the globe and everyone will see this film.

Warner Bro'sWarner Bros. Pictures is another example of a production company set in the sky. The Sky is seen by all, and so gives the message that all will see this film. It starts with an old fashioned clip of an old row of factories, before transforming into the WB symbol. This symbolises that they have been around for a long, time and because of that you automatically trust that the films they produce will be good. Finally they use the colour gold which is associated with quality. Warner Bros is an American film, television and music production company, founded on the 4th of April 1923.
